UMCCED Awards Your Internship Certificate (University of Malaya) after 11 months of Internship Completion and 1 Month Training at the Institutions.
What Should You Bring?
1. A Copy of Resume
2. Internship Letter – From the current college or institutions you studying
3. A Copy of Identification Card
4. 2 Passport Size Photos
5. If * Applicable Copy of Passport
The Process:
1. Student Enroll into Program
2. Student Placed into Hotel – 11 Months – Basic Allowance RM 900 per month
Exclude additional OT if applicable – will pay separate, Accommodation (Provided), Transportation (Provided), Meals (Provided according to their shift only) and Training Provided.
3. Internship Starts – Dept: Food & Beverages, House Keeping, Front Office, Kitchen – Culinary ( Option ) depending on courses
4. Student Completes Assessment Criteria
5. 5 Star Hotels and equivalent
6. Graduate!!!!! – Heading Towards a Permanent Job in Hotels & Cruise.
7. International Students – EMGS Payment, Processing Fee, Airport Pick Up, Documentation Charges, Clearance and so on will be separate charges.
8. Insurance Provide by EMGS ( For foreign Students )
9. RM 100 / month deduction from the monthly allowance for the UMCCED Certificate
10. 1x deduction for the Logbook RM 50
11. 3x warning from Hotels – College will send you back to home country and penalty of 1-month salary
12. Working – 10 hours per day and 1 hour off
Note:
Applicable for current hospitality students only.
Visa process will take about 45days from the application submission date.
If Immigration Reject your application due to some reason the Visa application fee will be waived.
Entry will only be for current hospitality students.
